Financial Accountant - Dubai

We are recruiting a technically strong Financial Accountant on behalf of a DFSA-regulated asset management firm. This role suits a candidate with 1–3 years’ experience in finance-related advisory or investment environments who can support accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance and high-quality financial analysis within a regulated framework.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial statements, monthly/quarterly reporting packs and regulatory returns.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and oversee accounting for investments, fees, accruals and other transactional activity.
• Perform financial modelling and build analytical models to support valuations, reporting and decision-making.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews, liaising with external auditors and regulators as required.
• Ensure compliance with DFSA/DIFC reporting requirements and internal control standards.
• Produce management reports and provide actionable insights to senior finance and investment teams.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects including process improvements, system implementations and integration tasks.
Required Skills & Experience
• 1–3 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate accounting, or strategic consulting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting practices.
• Experience in regulated environments (DIFC/DFSA preferred).
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
• European market experience is required.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Dubai.
