Finance Officer Required in Dubai

We are a Cat 4 licensed firm based in DIFC , Dubai UAE . We are currently looking for an individual who is be a finance officer to the firm .

Responsibilities

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

· maintaining financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services in order tomeet legislative requirements and support operations of the firm

· responsible for the preparation, review and submission of management accounts, financial accounts, firm accounting policy, group activity reporting

· reviewing and monitoring of accounting process and systems.

· monitoring the firm’s Capital Adequacy and Capital Requirements as per applicable Regulatory Rules and regularly reporting to the senior management on the same

· responsible for submission of the DFSA Prudential returns applicable to the firm and other tax return ( VAT etc)

· acting as your regulatory point of contact regarding financial matters

· liaising and coordinating with your internal and external auditors regarding the mandatory year end audit reports

· providing financial advisory support to the senior management

· performing other activities to ensure the Firm’s financial systems and controls

are in order, including involvement in the following:-

o assisting the senior management, as requested, in the preparation of the budget

o Attending board meetings and other relevant meetings

o implementing financial policies and procedures

o establishing and maintaining cash controls

o maintaining the accounts payable and accounts receivables in order to ensure complete and accurate records

o assistance during external and internal audit; and

Minimum requirement

· Qualified Accountant, Management Accountant or Auditor

· Member of a professional Accountancy body

· Minimum 3yrs relevant experience in financial services (Banking, Asset Management etc.)

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

· Fluent in English

· Excellent attention to detail

· High level of numeracy

Beneficial for the role

· Previous experience in Regulatory Financial Reporting

· Previous experience as a Finance Officer (not necessarily Authorised) for a Regulated entity
