Finance Officer Required in Dubai
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer.
The role will be responsible for contributing to the Finance & Treasury department. This is a very varied role which will see you heavily involved across all areas of the Finance & Treasury department’s activities.
Responsibilities (may include but not limited to) broker & trust commission & fee payments, policyholder payments, vendor payments, payroll & expenses, policyholder premium collections, managing banking relationships, cash & treasury management, reconciliations of control accounts, preparation of annual financial statements in line with IFRS. The role will also manage annual audits, support forecasting/budgeting, product profitability/ cashflow analysis, reinsurance, statutory and VAT returns, contribute to the Improvement of operational processes and policies in support of the organization’s mission.
Previous accounting/finance experience, intermediate level Microsoft Excel knowledge and a high level of attention to detail is key to the role.
Experience in the financial services industry and knowledge of sun accounting systems will be ideal. An understanding of investment products, pricing will be an added advantage.
