Job Brief:



Finance Manager is the key Finance contact responsible for providing the financial expertise and recommendations that enable effective decision-making within the business. This individual is responsible for maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and business plans. The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the financial planning, accounting, and analysis for the team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and has a passion for financial analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Providing accurate & timely monthly management accounts and financial analysis reports highlighting the significant deviations to financial plans with possible corrective action plans. Manage the preparation of the Management Accounts of Actual revenues and expenses with various MIS related reports as requested.
Preparing quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements under IFRSs.
Develop cordial working relations with banks, brokers & financial institutions to secure funding as and when required.
Arrange VAT return files & Design the system for VAT Implementation & do the needful steps to be ready for implementation & Ensuring compliance with tax and corporate laws across the Companies group.
Prepare the Actual Cash Flows Statement along with the forecasted and budgeted Cash flow.
Finalizing Financial Statements for the year or period ended for Audit and Assisting Auditors to Finalize the Audit and Coordination with external auditors of all group companies.
Examining the internal Control System, Highlighting the Weakness in The Control Structure, and Recommending Improvement in The System.
Assisting in negotiating financing facilities with banks/investors in the best interest of the company .
Maintaining contact with local banks, analyzing local bank statements, reconciling local bank accounts, and preparing the Borrowing Files to be presented to the banks for loans.
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
Work with the ERP implementation team to Improve the Finance Procedure with all departments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Management experience with demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to take on new assignments ·
Experience in Excel ( conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups) · Demonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results ·
Significant relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results · Experience in leading a team and developing talent and working cross-functionally ·
Proven familiarity with concepts of IFRS ·
Advanced experience demonstrating problem-solving and root cause analysis ·
Extensive experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools
Highly analytical, detail-oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions and demonstrated experience managing such mechanisms to a result ·
Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing, and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital ·
Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and senior levels of management ·
Attention to detail with diligent follow-up, and able to execute in a timely manner.
Skilled in multi-tasking and handling pressure
Proficient with accounting software
Ability to interact with senior management
Ability to be detail focused when required whilst maintaining sight of the big picture
Excellent analytical capabilities and hands on experience in MS Office presentations

Experience & Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance /MBA.
Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) and 7+ years of relevant experience ·
Fluent English communication skills, written and oral, Arabic language is advantage
