What you will do:

Overall responsibility for the Finance Department: financial operations and improve financial performance. Duties for the Finance Manager will include supervising accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, setting financial targets, implementing fund-raising strategies, engaging with investors, developing financial strategy, conducting feasibility studies, monitoring expenditure, overseeing annual insurance, monitoring cash flow, evaluating investments, and managing tax compliance. Your skills in sound financial planning coupled with your ability to direct financial assets will assist our organization in implementing effective financial strategies, managing debt, improving revenue, maintaining a healthy financial position, and enhancing investor confidence.

Must be (ACCA) / ACA /CIMA qualified with executive management experience
Must understand risk management and demonstration of stakeholder management
Possess excellent knowledge and understanding of preparing - IRAP, ICAAP and ILAAP as part of reporting requirements on entities regulated by the DFSA and FSRA and have relevant experience in dealing with the authorities
Local financial reporting process and coordinating internal and external reporting requirements and provision of optimal accounting services such as cash flow, working capital management, and fixed asset management
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
Cashflow management, reporting and forecasting
Management of External Auditors and advisors
Submission of government, regulatory and VAT returns
Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership
Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
Directing financial planning and strategy
Analyzing and reporting on financial performance
Overseeing audit and tax functions
Developing and implementing accounting policies
Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets
Training accounting staff
Reviewing departmental budgets
Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk
Analyzing complex financial data
Managing internal controls

What you’ll need:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting CPA / CA Certified.
Min 10 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Broad knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software.
