Finance Executive - Dubai

We’re seeking a proactive Finance Executive to join a reputable organization based in Business Bay, Dubai. This role will own end-to-end financial operations across multiple legal entities, manage international banking relationships, and ensure strict compliance with UAE tax and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously as well as supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently manage accounting and audit processes for both Freezone and Mainland entities.
• Prepare and deliver regular MIS reports to inform senior management decisions.
• Oversee domestic and international banking activity, including trade finance and treasury operations.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax obligations.
• Manage cross-border financial transactions such as SWIFT transfers, letters of credit (LCs), and bank guarantees.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
• Monitor foreign-exchange exposure and assist with hedging and risk-mitigation strategies.
• Act as the finance liaison with government departments and regulatory bodies.
• Familiarity with the Iraqi market and its banking systems will be considered an advantage.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
• Previous banking experience is required.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations and standard practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to perform effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience dealing with Iraqi financial institutions is a plus.
