Estimation Engineer - Dubai

DCServe – FJ Group is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to become part of their expanding team in Dubai, UAE. The selected candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and assisting in comprehensive project planning to support successful project execution.
Estimation Responsibilities:
• Analyze project drawings, technical specifications, and all relevant documents to prepare detailed and reliable cost estimates.
• Create material take-offs and calculate labor, equipment, and overhead costs for various projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather updated pricing and clarify scope requirements.
• Recognize potential risks and contingencies in pricing and project requirements.
• Review and revise estimates based on scope changes or updated market data.
• Prepare professional and competitive proposals for submission.
• Actively engage in tender preparations and client negotiation meetings.
Planning Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage realistic and comprehensive project schedules.
• Define project deliverables, milestones, and create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Work closely with project managers and site personnel to ensure accurate planning and alignment with timelines.
Ideal Candidate:
• Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Has relevant experience in both estimation and planning roles
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment
