Electrical Engineer – Engineering Coordinator
Role Summary
This role bridges the gap between electrical design, project coordination, and execution. The Electrical Engineer – Engineering Coordinator ensures that engineering deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with project goals, while facilitating communication between design, procurement, and construction teams.

️ Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Oversight
• Prepare, review, and validate electrical design documents including SLDs, layouts, schematics, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with civil and structural teams to integrate electrical systems into overall infrastructure.
• Lead the design of high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) substations and overhead transmission lines (33kV to 400kV).
• Oversee the preparation of electrical drawings, layouts, protection and control schemes, cable schedules, grounding, and earthing systems.
• Ensure that all design work meets applicable codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.), and specific client requirements.
Project Coordination
• Track engineering deliverables and ensure timely submission to clients and contractors.
• Liaise with procurement and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and material compatibility.
• Support site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

Documentation & Quality Control
• Maintain revision logs, approval workflows, and technical documentation.
• Conduct internal design reviews and support external audits.
• Monitor quality of electrical works and ensure adherence to SFQP and safety protocols

Technical Support & Problem Solving
• Resolve design-related issues during execution and propose engineering solutions.
• Assist in preparing technical queries (TQs), RFIs, and change requests.
• Provide engineering input for cost estimation and tender evaluations.

Qualifications
Requirement Details
Education Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
Experience 8 to 12 years in transmission line and substation projects
Skills AutoCAD, ETAP, PLS-CADD, MS Project, Excel
