Education Specialist Required in Dubai

We are looking for Education Specialists to join our SeaWorld Abu Dhabi team.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality guest experience, which includes informative and accurate interpretive education with emphasis on sharing the SeaWorld Abu Dhabi educational message. You will have close interaction with guests of all age while delivering information about the Zoological attractions and exhibits. You will be required to have a high level of knowledge about the park, with the ability to deliver this information in a fun and exciting way.

Job scope also include:

Conducts frequent fact-based animal presentations and guided tours for on, off-site, special events and experiences
Promotes the theme park products and activities available to our guests
Works closely with the Education Support Manager in order to deliver excellent, transformational zoological programming, ensures offerings are relevant and compelling to today’s audiences in content and delivery
Operates independently with minimal supervision while providing incredible guest service and innovating new experiences
Monitors guests and animal safety in coordination with the Animal Husbandry team
Promotes products, services and activities to the guests
Maintains knowledge of the park information, updates and promotions
Responds to guests’ queries/complaints with effective resolution under guidance from the Education Leadership
Completes all required training and maintains professional development and competencies
Fosters a culture of human and animal safety; following all safety policies and practices with a knowledge of all appropriate protective equipment in accordance with HSE policy
Prepares education and tour materials and maintains its professional appearance
Maintains cleanliness and organization of the workplace for designated areas
Performs other duties as assigned

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience in customer service/guests facing roles
Excellent customer/guest interaction skills
Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
Good public speaker, with the ability to readily adjust to audience
Good computer skills, including MS Office applications
Basic knowledge of educational principles and instructional design models
It would be an advantage to have:
1 year of experience in zoological setting, with basic understanding of zoological operations preferred or Theme Park
1 year of teaching assistant experience
Proficient in Arabic and other languages
Interested in this opportunity
