VAM Systems is currently looking for Developer - Database for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Professional Certifications

• Certifications related to Data & Analytics would be an added advantage

Experince

• 7 - 10 Years of Experience
• 5+ years experience in PL/SQL development,performance tuning and database design and SQL server DB architecture
• Very strong in writing advance SQL queries
• Should have 3+ years of scripting (Shell/Bash)
• Strong experience with SQL Server DDL, DML, Views, Stored Procedure, and Functions using T-SQL.
• Ability to detect and trouble shoot SQL related CPU,memory,I/O,disk space and other resource contention
• Experience in troubleshooting and data base integrity issues,performance issues,blocking & deadlocking.
• Exposure to other databases like sybase,MongoDB and cloud technology (Azure)
• Knowledge of SSIS/SSRS/ETL tools will be advantageous
•

Responsibilities

• Candidates will be involved in PL/SQL development for high demanddata warehouses/OLAP/OLTP applications
• Performance tuning of queries, and production issue handling,data base design
• Develop SQL Server T-SQL procedures/functions for batch processing as well as reports, in line with user requirements
• Support major incident calls for critical production issues and provide resolutions.
• The candidate will work with DBA , IT infra on database migration, app teams on database migration, and upgrade tasks

The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the Banks in Bahrain.
