VAM Systems is currently looking for Data Operations Lead Engineer for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:
Qualification

• BE Computer Science and Engineering

Professional Training

• SQL Development, SAS EG, SAS DI, Object-orientated Programming (e.g. C#, Java)

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate OR Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate OR equivalent.

Responsibility

• stabilization of daily data and information delivery
• Continuous improvement of data loading operations
• Improvement in performance of daily schedules
• Improvement of monitoring within data operations across all stages of daily information
• delivery
• Administration of core databases
• Establishing best engineering practices in collaboration with developing data engineers
• Extending existing and establishing new controls to improve the quality, availability, and clarity of the Data Platforms’ operations.
• Steering data operations engineers and performance optimization.
• Steering data operations engineers with coding standards and practices.
• Coordination and liaising between different teams to resolve source data dependencies and daily scheduling bottlenecks.
• Communicating and collaborating with other departments.
