Data Engineer - Application Support Specialist
Location: Dubai, UAE
Duration: Long term
Requirement:
• Hands-on knowledge of Informatica BDM and Power Center for troubleshooting production issues.
• Hands-on knowledge of Hadoop components for troubleshooting production issues – viz OOZIE, Ambari, PySpark scripting. HDFS commands.
• Proficient in writing advanced Hive queries.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relation Databases (Sybase IQ, Oracle, MSSQL, Mongo DB, Hive, SAP HANA).
• Hands-on experience in Unix Commands.
• Good knowledge of reporting tools viz.Power BI, Tableau.
• Experience in Application production support within the ITIL Framework.
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in
• Application troubleshooting, configuration and maintenance.
• Application performance tuning and optimization
• Resolution of tickets with quality and within SLA
• Proactive monitoring and incidents analysis
• Experience in Workflow maintenance and Configuration.
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in a relevant Technical position in large organizations.
• Candidate should be willing to work on a roster basis - including weekends/nights.
