This role suits an engineer who thrives in fast-paced data centers, is comfortable traveling between locations, and can take ownership of Dell server platforms and related infrastructure.
Role Scope:
▪ Provide on-site and on-call support for production data center environments operating round-the-clock.
▪ Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and health checks on Dell PowerEdge platforms and modular systems.
▪ Troubleshoot hardware/software incidents, coordinate vendor escalations, and ensure timely resolution to meet SLAs.
▪ Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, and change logs aligned with ITIL best practices.
Role Requirements:
▪ Proven, hands-on experience working in data center environments with Dell PowerEdge MX Series, R740/R750 rack servers, and the MX7000 modular chassis.
▪ Mandatory: Valid UAE driving license and own car to support travel requirements for 24x7 coverage.
▪ Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and off-hours as needed to sustain continuous operations.
Preferred Certification:
▪ D-PEMX-DY-23 certification (candidates holding this credential will be prioritized).
