Data Analyst Required in Dubai

Manages and participate in the management of Data Management projects executed by the Data Management Section.
Assists, supports and follows-up on strategic data related projects, products and initiatives executed by other agencies in client.
Assists and follows-up on the implementation of strategic data related systems and applications, procedures, policies and guidelines.
Ensures completeness, maintenance and accuracy of data governance within client and the Data Science and Analytics systems and environments including metadata, operating models and standards.
Maintains current and future data architecture and environments of client’s Data Science and Artificial Intelligence lab including tuning, monitoring and altering data model, and managing user groups.
Configures and updates the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab components to ensure alignment with best practices and strategic vision.
Manages the improvement of client Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab and Data Management Section functions.
Creates and manages users’ access security and permissions to the environment within client’s Data Science and Artificial Intelligence lab.
Manages the deployment of approved data products developed within the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab onto target systems/applications.
Manages the release plan of use cases developed and approved within the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence lab. --- CRISP dm with stakeholders
Develops, enhances and monitors Data Management Section’s processes and KPIs, especially indicators relating to Data Science and Analytics.
Contributes to establishing strategic goals in order to meet the Data Management section’s KPIs.
Reviews, develops and implements policies, procedures and standards to govern the use of Data for analytics within client and the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence lab.
Develops and performs QA/QC processes for Data Analytics and related Data Products in client.
Supports in the Assessment of the need of data products/services by different agencies/departments in client and define the business and operational requirements.
Provides technical support to client’s Data Science and Artificial Intelligence lab visitors including, but not limited to, transfer of knowledge relating to Data science and analytics, and on the lab’s components.
Ensures availability, performance and security of client’s Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Carries out Data analysis as per requirements and standards and as per the priority determined by the Data Management Section.
Coordinates with client’s strategic partners to assess the cooperation areas related to client’s Data Science and Artificial Intelligence lab based on the MOUs signed with client and manage events/benchmarks conducted within the lab.
Oversees the operations and use of client’s Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Identifies key performance indicators and develop cost/benefit analysis sheets to forecast and measure benefits of data related products and services.
Stays up-to-date on new and emerging Data related technologies and their probable utilization in client business environment in order to improve services, performance and achieve a high satisfaction level of stakeholders and customers.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science/IT or equivalent from recognized university.
6 years of relevant experience in a large and active service organization.
Strong knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts
Experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analysis.
Working knowledge of PDW, Hadoop, SQL and RDBMS systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
Experience in team management, technical lead and delivery management.
Experience in programming / scripting and knowledge of software development life cycle.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
Strong knowledge in programming languages such as Scala and Python3, and Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Scikit-learn, MatLab, etc.
Excellent understanding of Machine Learning techniques and algorithms, including supervised (Random Forest, XGBoost, Neural Networks, etc.) and non-supervised (K-Means, DBScan, etc.). with experience in deploying machine learning models in production using container-based technologies and orchestration systems like Kubernetes, as well as ML pipelines with Oozie and/or Airflow.
Excellent understanding of data visualization tools based on Python (Bokeh, Matplotlib, Pyplot, etc.), R (GGPlot2), JavaScript (D3Js, HighChart, etc.).
Experience in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig, and with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Neo4J, etc.
Ability to recommend analysis and assess software to provide related information systems.

Experience working as a liaison between Business Units and IT.
