Customer Service Executive - Dubai

Join a fast-growing logistics team as a Customer Service Executive where you’ll be the primary point of contact for customers using freight forwarding and shipping services. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years’ experience in the logistics sector who can manage customer expectations, work under pressure, and help deliver smooth, timely shipments.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email and chat, providing timely and accurate shipment updates.
• Coordinate with operations and carriers to track cargo, arrange pickups, and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Resolve service issues and escalate complex cases to the appropriate teams while keeping customers informed.
• Prepare and follow up on shipment documentation and paperwork as required by company procedures and customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and shipment statuses in company systems.
• Support commercial tasks such as preparing basic quotations, following up on outstanding invoices, and assisting in claims processing.
• Work to service-level targets and contribute to process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in customer service within shipping, freight forwarding or logistics.
• Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities; ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attitude: Presentable, customer-focused, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Technical: Comfortable using MS Office and familiar with CRM/transport systems (preferred).
