KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for the rental, sales, spare parts, and service departments.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

2. Audit and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations.

4. Cost Control:

- Implement and maintain effective cost control measures to optimize profitability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.

5. Departmental Collaboration:

- Work closely with rental, sales, spare parts, and service departments to understand their financial needs and challenges.
- Provide financial guidance and support to department managers.

6. Inventory Management:

- Oversee and reconcile inventory for spare parts and sales departments.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies.

7. Tax Compliance:

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations affecting the forklift industry.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification is REQUIRED.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of audit experience, preferably in the heavy equipment business industry or relevant.
Previous experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Communication:

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
