Commis 2 – In Room Dining - Dubai

Join a luxury 5-star hotel kitchen in Dubai as a Commis 2 focused on In-Room Dining. This role concentrates on preparing and presenting high-quality Indian cuisine (with some Continental and Arabic exposure) for guest in-room service, ensuring consistency, speed and hygiene at all times.
Key Duties:
• Prepare and plate Indian dishes to meet 5-star quality and presentation standards for in-room dining.
• Manage assigned station tasks and daily prep to ensure service readiness.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and kitchen SOPs to maintain consistency.
• Assist with mise-en-place, replenishment of pantry items and inventory checks for the station.
• Support timely assembly and handover of orders to service staff, ensuring accuracy and food safety.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, kitchen hygiene and food handling practices.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary AED 1,300 plus tips and service charge.
• Accommodation, transportation and duty meals provided.
• Visa, medical insurance and flights included.
• Trial required; candidates with visit/cancelled visa are preferred.
• Immediate joining for UAE-based candidates.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a 5-star Indian kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine; basic Continental skills are advantageous.
• Excellent station and prep management with attention to detail.
• Ready to start immediately and able to work in a team environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to perform under pressure during busy service periods.
