Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer or CFO to perform effective risk management and plan the organization’s financial strategy. It is a very important and complex role since an organization can only survive if it actively investigates and safeguards its finances.

A CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command.

The goal is to protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
Ensure credibility of the finance team by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
Take hands-on lead position in developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive systems.
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory/compliance action.
Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
Lead and oversee the strategic and day-to-day operations of the company and various departments (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, etc.
Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company and propose relevant solutions.
Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation and reporting to the Company.
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial reporting.
Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role
In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
Ability to strategize and solve problems
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and people skills
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
Spanish will be a plus.
