Our Client

A diversified family group in the UAE have an exciting new opportunity for a Chief Accountant to join their real estate business based in Dubai.

Your Responsibilities
Maintain the financial accounts on a day to day basis without any backlog in an accurate manner
Ensure all the assets of the company are safeguarded properly with appropriate insurance cover for all the assets
Prepare and present the monthly financial statements and ensure timely presentation of financial statements
Handle all the commercial, legal and statutory requirements of the company
Ensure timely payment of all dues to Suppliers, Vendors, Contractors, Brokers, Property Owners, etc.
Ensure timely collection of all dues from tenants and provide the weekly receivables statement with ageing analysis to the Leasing Administrator
Closely monitor the collection from tenants on bounced cheques and ensure timely legal action
Implement cost consciousness across the entire company
Actively participate in the corporate governance and ensure strict compliance with policies and procedures at all levels in the organisation
Motivate the employees and ensure that they give their best at all times

Your Qualifications
At least 5-7 years accounting experience
Strong leadership skills; must have experience in managing a team
Real Estate industry experience is highly preferred
