Chief Accountant Required in Dubai

Our client is looking to hire a Russian speaking Chief Accountant for their Dubai operations. The client is a leading group of companies dealing in wholesale and retail trading of automotive spare parts industry across Europe, Russia, Belarus and Turkey for more than 25 years.

The candidate would be well-versed with UAE accounting laws, regulations and IFRS standards, having minimum experience of 5+ years as a Chief Accountant in a trading company. The role also requires good communication skills in English, relevant degree in Accounting and working knowledge of SAP accounting software. Proficiency in Russian language is a MUST

Primary responsibilities would be as below, but not limited to:

Prepare budgets (income & expenditure, balance sheet, cash flow budget) and the company's financial statements
Develop tax and accounting policies
Presentation of financial statements with various cross-sectional analyses to creditors (suppliers), insurance companies, financial organizations, and investors
Ensure audits are conducted and are compliant with the laws
Manage the company’s transfer pricing (involving external appraisers)
Manage inventory reports for the company’s assets and liabilities (stock, cash, fixed assets, records, reconciliation statements)
Manage the company’s accounting and tax records
Prepare tax reports and supervise VAT returns in the course of export transactions
Supervise all payments to counter parties on business transactions in the company
