Job Overview:
JobCom UAE is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Cashier – Exchange House to join our currency exchange team in Dubai. The successful candidate will handle customer transactions, perform currency conversions, maintain accurate cash records, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer payments for currency exchange, remittances and related services, accepting cash and checks with accuracy.
• Execute foreign currency exchanges, applying daily rates and verifying all conversions for correctness.
• Maintain precise transaction records, balance the cash drawer at shift end, and produce daily reconciliation reports.
• Provide professional customer service, respond to rate and procedure inquiries, and resolve complaints or transaction issues promptly.
• Follow company security protocols and regulatory requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
Requirements:
• Strong numerical ability and proven cash-handling skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy in transaction processing and record-keeping.
• Familiarity with various currencies and exchange rates is advantageous.
• Prior experience working in an exchange house is mandatory.
