Business Development Manager Required in Dubai

Business Development Manager/Sales.

Location : Dubai UAE

Our client who is a European player in ergonomic design is looking for a BDM/Sales Manager to join their team. This role is based in the UAE but will require travel to KSA & Qatar. The Key focus will be on developing new business opportunities through Projects, Key Accounts, Dealer Sales and sourcing/maintaining market intelligence.

Candidates for this position should have at least 5 years experience in an international commercial B2B sales environment and be able to demonstrate successful achievements. We are looking for an individual who has an up-to-date network of influencers in the fields of Facility, Procurement, Real Estate and Architects/Designers. Must have a solid background in the furnishings and fittings market with experience of complex tender processes – including implementation and delivering. Local experience of working in the Saudi and Qatari markets would be a great addition.

Excellent communications skills are required in English with great interpersonal skills. Additional languages are an absolute benefit.

Must have an understanding of business ergonomics

Responsibilities include:

Producing presentations and assisting in the production of quotes
Actively building and developing business networks (Commercial agents, FM, design and build, main contractor and A&D)
Conducting and managing meetings with key sales targets
Developing and maintaining relevant market databases
Generate and research market intelligence and the avenues to secure successful levels of business in the target markets
Reaching company targets, turnover in sales
Taking responsibility for the net margin
