Business Development Manager (Events Industry) Required in Dubai

As part of our growing success, we are hiring a Business Development Manager for our events division including corporate and private events, exhibitions, trade shows and conferences

Responsibilities

- Meeting with potential and existing clients to increase opportunities, market share, and revenue within government and corporate organisations

- Developing proposals, quotations, and responding to tenders for enquiries and negotiating terms to secure sales opportunities that will result in meeting the set targets

- Working with the event management team to identify new opportunities that would allow the agency to deliver innovative services within the events industry

- Propose out of the box marketing activities to increase brand awareness and gain new clients

- Regularly attend trade and public events for networking possibilities to secure new business opportunities and create a pipeline of sales opportunities

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Creative Design or Management

- Negotiation skills in closing deals and sealing long-term contracts

- An outstanding relationship building capability that would always guarantee client sustainability and return

- Financial literacy with abilities to manage budgets, sales forecasts, and revenue

- A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in business development/sales and client servicing gained in the Abu Dhabi market within the event management and MICE industry

- Ability to develop effective presentations and proposals and be able to deliver them to decision makers

- Hungry for success and growth with a positive approach and attitude

- Enjoys being in the driver’s seat, looking for the latest trends and knowledge within this dynamic industry
