Business Development (Corporate Training) Required in Dubai

Job Overview - Please only apply if you have business-to-business sales experience; preference will be given to someone who is already in Dubai.

We are a small training company that sells corporate training and development to clients across the GCC. Our target prospects are HR & Training professionals from large companies (over 250 employees) Our offices are in Al Barsha so this role would require you to be office based but as we are a small business there is flexibility but the first 3 months would be critical to your development so you would need to be in the office.

Being a small business has its benefits but it also means we are not in a position (currently) to pay a huge starting salary (6-7k) + commission on meetings booked until the individual is confident enough to lead and close their own meetings (Which we expect to be within 3-6 months) After this period we would then introduce financial incentives which would give a much higher OTE.

As a training company, it’s right to expect you will be given plenty of on-the-job training in sales & negotiation. We are a big believer in attitude here at Ignite so we need someone who wants to show up every day. Eventually, we would like to help this individual grow and develop their skills so that they can own a specific product portfolio and grow their own team.

This role will primarily suit someone junior in sales & business development as at least for the first 3 months of this role it will be assisting the BDM in booking virtual demos/face-to-face meetings. You need to be used to making outbound calls, and hitting the phones day in and day out.

Responsibilities and Duties

Directly contact potential clients through outbound phone calls, networking, social media and referrals (40-60 calls a day)
Progress leads to the point of face-to-face or virtual introduction, work with Director or lead consultant to develop and close.
Account Management of all new accounts with the aim of generating future business opportunities
Forecast opportunities and manage the progress of these opportunities through CRM with accurate and relevant data input.
Meet and ideally exceed demanding weekly targets for new lead generation (prospecting) and call rates
Qualifications & Experience

1-2 years sales experience (HR/L&D is a big bonus)
Experience using and managing a CRM
Excellent time management & attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Experience working in a small team
Experience in an environment with a high output environment with daily KPIS (Calls Made, Qualified Prospects, Proposals etc)
