BEAUTY-FACIAL THERAPIST REQUIRED IN DUBAI

The role of a Beauty/ Facial Therapist is to provide expert bespoke treatments to patients by educating them, developing treatment plans, providing pre and post treatment instructions and setting a realistic goal for cosmetic enhancements.

MAIN WORK: Facial Treatments, Skin Peeling, Microdermabrasion, Face and Upper Body Massage, Microneedling, etc.

Job Description
• Analyse patients’ needs to recommend appropriate skin treatments.
• Explaining all treatment procedures to patients.
• Ensure individualized patient service through acknowledging and responding to their needs and expectation.
• Actively participate in other areas of the operations such as assisting Nurse and Doctors when required.
• Perform skin treatments like skin rejuvenation, including peels, facials, anti-acne treatment and hair removals.
• Responsible in keeping equipment and rooms cleaned and tidy.
• Order and maintain inventory of skincare supplies.
• Cross sell skincare products and additional treatments when appropriate.
• Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all procedures including detailed informed consents, and patient education regarding machine and skin care protocols.
• Perform duties in a professional manner.
• Always ensure correct information of patients.
• The provision of safe, independent, high quality care, in the hospital/ outpatient, and surgical office setting, under the auspices and adhering to Standard precautions, occupational health, environment and safety standards as mandated by the Clinic including particular attention to the prevention and control of infections.
• Anticipates, recognises, and manages emergencies, and unsafe situations and practice, initiating appropriate and timely interventions.
• Performs all duties in a professional and confidential manner.
• To evidence documented training, competence, and continuing education for all mechanical laser equipment.
• Adhere to the Company’s protocols and telephone standards.

Requirements
• Fluent in English (Speaking Arabic is an advantage)
• Effective communication skills dealing with patient’s individual requirements and needs both verbal and in writing.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a spa, hotels or clinics.
• Certification from an accredited school of Cosmetology or similar.
• Active DHA/DHCC license as a therapist with supporting educational and work experience certificates.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene & grooming.
• Socially perceptive; aware of other’s reactions and understanding why they react the way they do.
• Literate in Microsoft Word / Excel etc.
• Discrete and understands confidentiality issues.
