AV Pre-Sales / AV Design Engineer Required for an SI in Dubai - Dubai

AV Pre-Sales / Design Engineer

A Large SI company based in UAE is looking to expanding its operations (verticals & geographical) in AV, focusing on higher end AV solutions that require your contribution as an AV pre-sales in Dubai office.

The right candidate MUST have:

1. Technical / Engineering Degree (Communication, Electrical, etc.)
2. Experience: Minimum of two to four years in UAE or GCC - designing Audio Visual systems with vendor, consultants, contractors and/or solution integrators
3. Proven track record of designing integrated AV/Control solutions
4. Experience in Digital Interfacing, AV routing and switching, NW & Structured cabling, AutoCAD
5. Certificates from reputable AV vendors/companies
6. Extensive Knowledge of AV products & manufacturers
7. Local Experience (UAE,GCC) in bid process & proposal preparation (Technical & Financial)
8. Ability to work quickly, effectively under deadline pressure
9. Good communication & presentation skills (client meetings)
10. Extreme proficiency in English (spoken & written)
11. Can do attitude, Passion to learn and explore, Creative, Structured thinking with great attention to details
12. Pleasant to work with

Your Role:
• Support Sales & Business Development team securing deals
• Identify Client needs by meeting clients / site surveys
• Design AV solution that meets specs & budget
• Present solutions (internally & externally)
• Prepare proposals, drawings & process bids
• Coordinate with the Project team pre & post installation
• Help develop & maintain long term relationships with potential clients, suppliers & vendors

List of AV systems required:
Video, Audio, PA, BGM, Video Walls (LED, LCD, Projection), Automation & Control, IPTV, SMATV, Digital Signage, Audio Conferencing, Video Conferencing, Lecture & Training, Queue Management, Information & Content Management, Dimming & Lighting, Nurse Call, Meeting Room, Command & Control.
