Job Description:
1. Bookkeeping:
• Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately in ERP & QuickBooks.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
2 Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Assist in processing vendor invoices and vendor payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Verify accuracy of invoices, including pricing, quantities, and terms.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files and records.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations related to accounts payable.
3. Bank Reconciliation:
• Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
4. Expense Tracking:
• Monitor and track business expenses.
• Ensure that expenses are properly coded and documented.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
5. Financial Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
• Generate reports on a regular basis for management review.
Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
6. Assist in Audits:
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Ensure that audit requests are fulfilled accurately and promptly.
7. QuickBooks & ERP Expertise:
• Utilize QuickBooks & ERP to its full potential for efficient financial management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any QuickBooks & ERP related issues.
8. Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
9. Collaboration:
• Collaborate with the finance team and other departments as needed.
• Provide support to senior accountants and finance managers.
10. Data Entry:
• Accurately enter financial data into the accounting system.
• Verify the accuracy of data to maintain data integrity.
UAE Experience is mandatory. Candidate who are in UAE will only be considered.
