Accounts Receivable Analyst - Dubai
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will support the Accounts Receivable Manager in running day-to-day AR operations, ensuring compliance, and producing accurate reports. This role helps manage tuition and non-credit billing, supports collection activities and adjustments, and participates in annual fiscal close processes. The Analyst also plays a supporting role for Financial Aid disbursement compliance, tax reporting (including 1098-T), and external audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Non-Credit Billing & Collections Oversight: Manage collections, write-offs, and manual adjustments for non-credit accounts (Destiny One). Work closely with Continuing Education to confirm student records and billing accuracy.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Assist with compliance around financial aid disbursements and refunds, collection laws, and tax reporting (1098-T). Prepare documentation and respond to audit inquiries for state, local, and federal reviews.
• System Maintenance & Internal Controls: Support evaluation, implementation and maintenance of AR systems; help sustain internal controls over revenue receipts and adherence to institutional and regulatory policies.
• Reporting & Process Improvement: Generate and analyze operational reports to support AR functions. Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to training efforts and documentation updates.
• Published Materials Review: Verify accuracy of published tuition/fee information, course catalogs, class schedules and web content related to billing and payments.
• Backup & Cross-Functional Support: Provide backup for other departmental processes as needed and collaborate with finance, enrollment and registrar teams.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience (accounts receivable, data transformation, or related financial roles).
• Experience working with data and enterprise financial systems (experience with Destiny One, Colleague, or similar is a plus).
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with financial aid regulations, 1098-T tax reporting, and audit processes.
• Prior experience in higher education finance or accounts receivable operations.
Work Mode & Schedule:
• Full-time (40 hours/week). This posting is primarily remote, but occasional on-campus or alternate-location presence may be required. Candidates should be residents of Maryland or one of the eligible neighboring states as specified by the college’s hiring policy.
