Key Responsibilities

• Code and post financial documents in accordance with established company procedures.
• Process invoices by matching them with corresponding order forms and packing slips, and accurately record necessary details.
• Answer account-related inquiries by accessing computerized financial information.
• Perform data entry tasks, including debiting, crediting, and totaling accounts using spreadsheets and databases.
• Verify the accuracy of figures and postings, ensuring proper coding.
• Monitor accounts to guarantee prompt payments.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports related to expenditures and accounts payable.
• Calculate and prepare checks for various payments, including utilities and taxes.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Conduct financial calculations as required.
• Execute general office duties, such as filing and correspondence.
• Prepare year-end Forms 1099 and compile invoices linked to asset accounts.
Required Skills
• Proficient in arithmetic, algebra, and relevant mathematical applications for accounting.
• Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all financial operations.
• Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures, inclusive of word processing and file management.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in accounting or finance is preferred.
