Accounting Technician - Dubai

Thrivent Financial is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to assist in ensuring accurate and timely accounting of transactional activities. This role involves processing repetitive transactions, maintaining system accuracy, and analyzing financial information to support operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payments, general ledger entries, suspense entries, and other transactional activities
Balance accounts daily to ensure accurate financial information
Prepare account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items
Maintain proper separation of duties and internal control procedures
Support corporate, divisional, and departmental projects in line with strategic plans
Complete regulatory forms and filings
Assist in improving accounting processes and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
✔️ Associates degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred, or equivalent experience
✔️ 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
✔️ Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
✔️ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
✔️ Capability to handle interruptions and meet deadlines accurately
