Accounting Specialist - Dubai
Entrata is hiring an Accounting Specialist to provide advanced, business-to-business support for customers using our property-management software suite. You’ll act as an accounting subject-matter expert who helps customers and internal teams solve technical and workflow issues related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and financial reporting within our platform.
• Serve as a technical accounting resource for customers and provide high-quality B2B support via phone, email, and ticketing.
• Troubleshoot complex, multi-system accounting issues and verify root causes before escalating to product or engineering teams.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, R&D, Training, and other internal teams to resolve customer issues and drive product improvements.
• Create and deliver clear documentation, runbooks, and best-practice guides; contribute to training materials and peer coaching.
• Participate in product sprint reviews and maintain up-to-date knowledge of product changes and releases.
• Proactively manage your queue, take ownership of challenging cases, and work to provide permanent solutions rather than temporary fixes.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with a range of accounting users — from staff accountants to finance leaders — capturing necessary details in written records.
• Meet service level agreements and contribute to continuous process improvements that increase team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years’ work experience in an accounting role; experience providing technical B2B support to enterprise customers is preferred.
• Strong accounting fundamentals (AR, AP, GL, financial reporting) and the ability to learn software quickly.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Empathy and customer-focus with the ability to perform under pressure and adapt to change.
Preferred qualifications:
• CPA is a plus.
• Prior experience in property-management accounting or with property-management software.
• Demonstrated ability to work with both junior and senior accounting stakeholders.
