ACCOUNTANT REQUIRED IN DUBAI

• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Post data to various ledgers, registers, journals and logs following established accounting techniques and procedures.
• Assist the Financial Director / Managing Director with preparation and consolidation of annual budget.
• Close books at year end upon completion of annual audit.
• Prepare monthly Board of Health finance report.
• Perform internal audits of accounts payable, payroll distribution, fixed assets, and cash, may make correctional journal entries in assigned areas.
• Maintain the various ledger accounts, including reconciliation of the general ledger, revenue accounts, expenditures and cash balances.
• Responsible for payroll import, and review the tabulation, monitoring and distribution of payroll costs to appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Prepare reimbursement requests.
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Prepare correspondence and expenditure reports, monitor expenditures and ledgers.
• Prepare annual expenditure reports.
• Monitor the financial activity on assigned programs and prepare expenditure reports.
• Review accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and make or direct correcting entries.
• Prepare, maintain control, and be responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts.
• Governance, Risk and Compliance with regards to Trade License Renewals as well as Employment Visas

- Requirements:
1. Fluent English.
2. BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
3. From 2-3 years’ Experience.
4. Proficient in Excel.
5. Experience in Xero accounting software is preferable.
6. Excellent knowledge of audit and tax.
7. Strong organizational skills.
