Accountant Required in Dubai

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our renovation and fit-out projects. This role involves tracking costs, handling transactions, ensuring compliance, and supporting audits—contributing directly to the success and accuracy of our project finances.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Cost Management:

Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial records for multiple renovation and fit-out projects.
Monitor and track project costs including materials, subcontractors, labor, and change orders.
Assist in the preparation, review, and verification of LPOs and process related payments.
Vendor sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation, evaluating BOQ’s.
Purchase order management and contract administration.
Cost reduction and supplier performance tracking.
Financial Documentation & Compliance:

Validate invoices and payments against contracts
Maintain accurate financial records using ERP/accounting software
Reconcile accounts and support dispute resolution with legal team
Ensure compliance with financial policies and tax regulations
Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare project financial and VAT reports
Coordinate with site, procurement, and subcontractor teams on budgets
Support audits with required financial documentation

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction, interior fit-out.
Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles (e.g., WIP, cost codes)
Experience using accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage 300, or similar.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Experience with VAT filings and knowledge of regional tax regulations
Proficiency in working with ERP systems and maintaining clean financial records
