The Role:

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company. You will work closely with the finance team to manage financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and assist in various accounting-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
Budget Management: Assist in budget creation and monitoring, providing insights into budget variances and recommending corrective actions.
Reconciliation: Conduct account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams to facilitate audits and compliance reviews.
Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement, and present findings to the finance team.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
CA or relevant certification.
