Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team and oversee financial operations at our veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking activities.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize financial performance.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
-conduct monthly clinic inventory, inventory cost price & actual physical count
-assist External/ Internal Auditors and provide them with support and documentation to complete their audits. Implement recommendations and provide management action plans for the issues identified in the report.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks, and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in the healthcare or veterinary industry is a plus.
