Accountant Required in Dubai
We are looking for a full-time real estate accountant to join our expanding team! You’ll be responsible for keeping our financial records organized, including tracking accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that each account is reconciled correctly. This is an opportunity to bring order to our growing real estate office and see tangible results from your work on a daily basis!

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Manage budgeting and forecasting
Handle all accounts payable and receivable on a daily basis
Create and update reports for various business needs
Prepare & submit VAT filings as required
Managing the bank accounts, inc. bank reconciliation & PDC management
Compile and analyse financial statements
Cashflow forecasting
Assist the real estate team with other accounting duties as needed
Ensure timely payment of commissions
Manage Payroll (WPS)
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and maintain effective internal controls
Monthly bank reconciliations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Professional Accountancy qualification a must (ACCA, ACA, ACMA or similar)
Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite & Accounting Software (QuickBooks, Tally, etc.)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a real estate brokerage
Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE
