Accountant Required in Dubai

OBJECTIVE:

Production of the monthly management accounts for the UAE entity.

Role and Responsibilities

· Production of UAE management accounts and reporting:

Prepare UAE accounts
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts.
Review and analysis of month end variances
Review monthly reports
· Lead year-end audit for UAE

· Submit monthly VAT returns

· Update Group cash forecast

· Credit control

· Review and complete sales reports

· Review manual credit notes and invoices

· Provide financial information to internal departments where required and help the departments understand the information provided.

· Support UK and overseas finance departments, where necessary

· Knowledge of letters of credit and guarantees is desirable

· Other adhoc projects as required.

Professional / Vocational Qualifications or specific experience required:

· Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA

· Proficient technical knowledge of accounting being able to apply acquired knowledge in business environment.

· High level of knowledge of MS Office and Excel.

· Experience of working in an international environment.

· Able to display a high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.

KEY PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:

· Produce UAE accounts within 4 days, with full review on day 5.

· Weekly Group cash forecast

· Ability to work on own initiative, within a team environment.

· Accuracy & attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritise workloads to meet reporting deadlines.

· Positive interaction with all colleagues over all levels of the business.

· Illustrate ideas to improve and implement new working processes.

Gains confidence and respect of others and acts as role model.

Monthly Salary range: AED 5000 to AED 6500 + Medical+ yearly ticket to home country
