Description:
We’re hiring an Accountant — join a busy Dubai-based finance team where accuracy and timely reporting matter. The role focuses on day-to-day bookkeeping, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with UAE tax and regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with management and auditors to keep accounting records reliable and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger to reflect accurate balances.
• Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments to ensure all accounts are current.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures and assist in preparing closing schedules.
• Compile financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules for internal use and review.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory filings by maintaining proper documentation and calculations.
• Assist with external and internal audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Maintain organised accounting records and documentation to support transparency and audit readiness.
