Accountant - Dubai

We’re Hiring — Accountant (UAE Experience Required)
Our client based in Hor Al Anz, Dubai is seeking a meticulous Accountant with solid UAE accounting experience to handle day-to-day bookkeeping and support accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, comfortable with reconciliations, and able to work to tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
• Prepare and maintain the trial balance and support monthly closing activities.
• Generate regular financial reports and support management with accurate accounting information.
• Perform bank reconciliations, petty cash tracking, and assist with expense reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve accounting queries.
• Support auditors and assist with documentation during audits.
What We’re Looking For:
• 3–4+ years of hands-on accounting experience in the UAE (mandatory).
• Strong working knowledge of receivables, payables, trial balance preparation, and bookkeeping.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Candidates currently in the UAE and available to join immediately are preferred.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks accurately.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and bookkeeping.
• High proficiency in MS Excel and common accounting tools.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA Inter, or equivalent.
