The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. · Ensure that financial reports are accurate, timely, and in compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.). · Oversee the general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled. · Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. · Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy. · Preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. · Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommend corrective actions when necessary. · Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits. · Ensure compliance with tax laws and other financial regulations. · Monitor and analyze costs, identifying areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities. · Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations and stay updated on changes to tax laws that might impact the organization. · Evaluate accounting processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy. REQUIREMENTS: · Certification: CPA or CA is mandatory · 5-7 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in the UAE, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. · Proficiency in advanced Excel is mandatory. · Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics. SKILLS: · Consistent, accurate and thorough with an eye for details. · Professional level verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and internal departments. · Expertise working in financial statements. · A proactive approach to problem- solving with strong decision-making skills.
