As AME-Crew chief I carried out line/Base maintenance duties on Dash 8-100/200/300.CRJ100/200 and B1900 PT6-65B and -67D Engine. My duties included:
Reporting to Base Maintenance and Planning Manger on issues affecting the serviceability of Aircraft.
Overseeing and planning the work requirements necessary for the completion of work packages and Release Aircraft for return to service.
Completing and certifying log books and work sheets for work accomplished.
Reviewing task/snags/Deferred items are properly cleared by Authorized maintenance personnel.
Ensuring that safety policies and procedures are followed.
Co-coordinating parts requirements with store Supervisor.
Providing instructional support to employees as required for their development.
Attended several training courses as directed by the company.
Liaising with flight crews with respect to serviceability of Aircraft. Troubleshooting (MCC) via T3 Dispatcher on duties.
Performing corrective action on A/C systems, engines, and other related Aircraft systems.
